30 Seconds to Mars hails from Los Angeles, California and is a rock band that was formed back in 1998. The group features Jared Leto, who is also an actor, as the rhythm guitarist, songwriter and vocalist. Along with his brother Shannon, the band started as a small family project. Later, Matt Wachter joined them as the keyboard player and bassist. After having two previous guitarists Solon Bixler and Kevin Drake, the band finally took in Tomo Milicevic to complete the official lineup.
