Achmed the Dead Terrorist is a comedy skit by ventriloquist and stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham, featuring the skeletal remains of an inexperienced suicide bomber. Dunham uses this skit as a satire on terrorism. Achmeds first media appearance was in Sparks of Insanity and he also sang the song Jingle Bombs in Very Special Christmas Special. The first skit with Achmed has received 200 million views and is the fourth most viewed online video ever.

Achmed wears a white cloth around his head and exclaims Silence! I kill you! to Dunham and the laughing audience. Dunham frequently mentions that Achmed appears dead to which Achmed responds Its a flesh wound. The comedian also asks Achmed how he died and Achmed explains how inexperienced he is with explosives while also referring to Dunhams sexual abilities, saying that they both have premature detonation.

Achmed has mentioned that he wants to work for Osama Bin Laden, even though he doesnt consider himself to be a Muslim. Even so, South Africa has banned the puppet routine, alleging that it mocks Islam. Dunham refutes this statement, saying that Achmed does truly represent Muslim people. He added that bans like this violate freedom of speech so that no one can make fun of any group.
