Artist Bio
Aqua, a dance-pop group with Danish-Norwegian roots, is probably best known for Barbie Girl, their 1997 breakthrough single. The group was formed back in 1989 and was able to achieve international success in the late 1990s as well as in the early 2000s. They were able to climb to the top charts of UK Singles with the first three songs that they released. They had two albums Aquarium and Aquarius before they split up in July of 2001.
