A metal core band from California, Atreyu was formed back in 1998. It is made up of songwriter Alex Varkatzas on vocals, Travis Miguel and Dan Jacobs on guitars, Marc McKnight on bass and Brandon Saller on drums and vocals. The group was originally named
Retribution and later changed their name when they found out that there was another band who using their name.
