Darude, a Finnish DJ and producer, started to experiment with music and the art of being a DJ back when he was still in school, where he adopted his nickname, The Rude.He teamed up with producer Jaakko Salovaara or JS 16, who was the founder of 16 inch, to release Sandstorm, which was his first single. In June 2000, he became a chart-topping musical artist in the UK.
