Dorrough, born Dorwin Demarcus Dorrough, is a Texan rapper who started out handing out mix tapes at basketball games at his high school. He was born and raised in Dallas and attended Prairie View A&M University. His first release Walk That Walk became number 12 on the Hot Rap Tracks and number 28 single on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. His second single Ice Cream Paint Job became number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100.
He released his first album Dorrough Music on E1 Music in 2009 and saw it reach number two on the Top Rap Albums, number six on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums, and number 36 on the Billboard 200. His single Ice Cream Paint Job was turned into a remix that was released in 2009, featuring Soulja Boy Tell Em, Slim Thug, Jermaine Dupri, Jim Jones, Rich Boy, and E-40. His third single was Wired to the T. Dorrough performed on Juveniles single We Be Getting Money, which was released on Juveniles Cocky & Confident album.
For his new album Get Big, Dorrough released the two singles I Want (Hood Christmas Anthem) in 2009 and Number 23 in 2010. His next two singles were Hood Chick Fetish with Yo Gotti and Get Big.
