Dr. Dre is the stage name of Andre Romelle Young. He is a record producer, a rapper, an actor and a record executive. He created and is the CEO of the company Aftermath Entertainment. He was also an artist and co-owner of Death Row Records. Being a producer, he is recognized as one of the key figures for the popularization of the West Coast G-funk, which is a rap music style, characterized with synthesizer-based music and slow, heavy beats.
