Eminem otherwise known as Marshall Mathers

Rapper Eminem aka Marshall Bruce Mathers III in real life is also known as Slim Shady, his alter ego. In 2009 he held a free concert in detroit to promote his "recovery" album. Aside from being a popular rapper, he is also a record producer and an actor. He gained popularity back in 1999 when his debut album was released.

The album, "The Slim Shady LP" later won a Grammy for Best Rap Album. His succeeding album became the fastest-selling album in hip-hop history as well as most ringtones downloaded. He has won numerous awards since then and have produced several albums as well such as "Relapse" and "The Re-Up" .
