Artist Bio
Evanescence is a rock band formed in Little Rock, Arkansas back in 1995 by Amy Lee as the singer and pianist and Ben Moody as the guitarist. After they recorded two private EPs as well as a demo CD entitled Origin, they were able to release Fallen, the band's first full-length album in 2003 under Wind-up Records. This album sold over 15 million copies worldwide. They also won two Grammy Awards from this album. Since then, the band has undergone a lot of lineup changes but continues to be popular in the present music scene.
