Artist Bio
Frank Sinatra started his musical career during the swing era, along with Tommy Dorsey and Harry James. He became a successful solo artist that achieved great success during the early to mid-1940s. His professional career went by a bit slow in the 1950s but in 1954, his acting talent was recognized after winning the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award. Later on, he signed a contract with Capitol Records, releasing several critically acclaimed songs and albums. He bagged a total of eleven Grammy Awards, which included a Grammy Legend Award, Grammy Trustees Award and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
