Artist Bio
After being able to a carve a name as an energetic front-woman of the trio Trick Pony, Heidi Newfield felt that she wanted to perform as a solo artist. She announced it in November 2006 and left the group. Raised in Califonia, Newfield had a lot of musical influence which made her love country, blues and rock music. She went on to work on a solo debut album, which was a collection of songs with various styles and moods. The album's lead off single Johnny & June, claimed a spot on the top forty country hits during the spring of 2008.
