Artist Bio
Hailing from Mechanicsville in Virginia, singer/songwriter Jason Mraz grew up with the musical influence of the Dave Matthews Band as well as the Agents of Good Roots. It was his interest and involvement in musical theater, however, which became his first introduction to the world of music. After studying high school, he attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Although after a year, he dropped out, he was able to continue his musical career when he focused on songwriting and playing the guitar. Today, he has written and released numerous hits and continues reach new heights along with his drummer Noel Toca Rivera.
