Jennifer Hudson is an R&B and soul singer, actress and songwriter. She has been able to bag all four of the major screen acting awards, which include a BAFTA Award, Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has also won a Grammy Award and twenty other awards. She was one of the finalists of American Idol%u2019s third season. Although she did not win, she was able to establish herself as a film actress ad a solo recording artist. In 2008, her debut album under Arista Records was released, producing the number one hit Spotlight.
