Artist Bio
Miranda Lambert is the daughter of Rick Lambert, a country guitarist and songwriter. She grew in a house that was dedicated to country music. She started joining country talent contests at the age of 16. She easily learned how to play the guitar and started writing her own songs. In 2001, having received some financial assistance from her father, her self-titled album Miranda Lambert was released. The album showcased her songs, including "Somebody Else" and "Texas Pride".
