Formed in 1970, Queen is an English rock band that consists of Brian May on guitars, Freddie Mercury on lead vocals, John Deacon on bass and Roger Taylor on drums. Queen was distinguished for their musical diversity, vocal harmonies, multi-layered arrangements, as well as their incorporation of the participation of the audience in their live performances. In an industry poll, their Live Aid performance in 1985 was voted as their all-time best live rock performance. They have released a total of studio and live albums, along with numerous compilation albums, eighteen of which reached the top of the carts around the globe.
