Artist Bio
Savage is the stage name of rapper Demetrius Savelio from New Zealand. He enjoyed listening to hip-hop music at an early age, when he acquired his stage name. Later on in 1997, he and his friends went on to form Deceptikonz, which is a hip-hop group. However, they were not able to achieve instant success. They struggled through a number of small concerts and talent shows. In 1999, they finally got their big break when they signed Dawn Raid Entertainment, a New Zealand hip-hop label.
