Soulja Boy Tell Em or DeAndre Way in real life was already a seasoned businessman and an ambitious artist even before he turned 18. He was already a live entertainer, producer and had the ability to write quite catchy hooks. He was discovered by Michael Crooms, better known as Mr. Collipark, an Atlanta producer. He helped to transform Soulja Boy Tell Em from being a local sensation into a national mover and shaker through the use of the Internet. He gradually climbed to the top of the charts with the hit dance track Crank Dat (Soulja Boy) back in 2007.
