Stewart Gilligan Griffin, or Stewie, is a character on the animated comedy Family Guy played by Seth MacFarlane. He is the shows breakout character who is known for ranting constantly about world domination and matricide. MacFarlane has said that Stewie represents child helplessness through the perspective of an adult. He is listed as the 95th greatest villain of all time by Wizard magazine. Stewies parents are Peter and Lois Griffin and his older siblings are Meg and Chris. He is a highly intellectual one-year-old with an ambiguous sexuality who can speak fluently with an unusual English accent. He has remained the same age since his first birthday on the episode Chitty Chitty Death Bang, but it is assumed that is four or five because he was shown going to preschool. He loves the Teletubbies and talks to his teddy bear Rupert, but can also read well and make references long before his birth. He has the ability to move objects heavier than his weight and has committed numerous criminal acts such as robbery, possession of firearms while underage, and murder. Besides his pessimistic views and bizarre behavior, including make an evil twin of himself, Stewie has shown his family kindness on several occasions.
