Artist Bio
In 1978, the American rock band Survivor was formed. The band was able to achieve its greatest success during the 1980s with their pop-rock musical style, garnering numerous top hit singles, particularly in the US. The group is best known for their 1982 Double Platinum hit single Eye Of The Tiger, which was the theme song for Rocky III a US blockbuster movie. Some other singles released in the 1980s which climbed to the top of music charts include Burning Heart, The Search Is Over, High on You and I Can't Hold Back.
