System of a Down is a rock band that hails from Glendale, California. They were formed back in 1994 and is made up of Daron Malakian on vocals and guitar, Serj Tankian on lead vocals, John Dolmayan on drums and Shavo Odadjian on bass. Since 1998, the band has released five albums. They have become a staple on mainstream rock radio, with their works garnering four Grammy Award nominations, one of which they did win.
