Formed back in 2003 in Florida, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is a rock band which started as a local band in their hometown. They chose their band name by putting several word s on a wall and then blindfolding a member as he chose the words that would be forming their name. They also considered using other band names including Evil Slamina and Umbrella Ninjas. The band was created by Duke Kitchens and Ronnie Winter in 2001 after playing a couple of Blink 182 songs together.
