Artist Bio
The Temptations is a vocal group which achieved popularity for being one of Motown Records' most successful recording act. They were formed back in 1960 in Michigan as The Elgins. During their five-decade career, the group's repertoire includes R&B, funk, doo-wop, disco, adult contemporary and soul music. They are known for their distinct harmonies, onstage suits and recognizable choreography.
