Three 6 Mafia started out making music that was exploitative and horror-themed underground hardcore rap but eventually enjoyed mainstream success a couple of years after as their music evolved, winning them an Oscar award and scoring a couple of major hits. The only constant members of the group were DJ Paul and Juicy J, with the other members changing from time to time. Some of the members who, at one point, became a part of the group include Gangsta Boo, Crunchy Black, Lord Infamous, La' Chat, Koopsta Knicca, Project Pat, Indo G and Killa Klan Kaze.
