Trina or Katrina Laverne Taylor in real life is a rapper hailing from Miami, Florida. She was asked by rapper Trick Daddy to deliver a verse for his debut which was the track Nann Nigga. Trick Daddy used that single later on as the first track of his album www.thug.com. After the success of that single, Trina was able to get a recording contract with Atlantic Records.
