Chris Brown or Christopher Maurice Brown is an R&B singer who made his debut back in 2005 at the young age of 16. His debut album featured Run IT! which was an instant hit, topping several music charts. It made him the first male artist with a debut single topping the charts. The album sold more than two million records in the US alone and achieved double platinum as certified by the RIAA or the Recording Industry Association of America. Aside from recording many more successful singles and albums, he also collaborated with several artists in songs that became hits as well. Because of his talent in singing and dancing, he has been compared to popular R&B singers Usher and Michael Jackson, which incidentally were among his musical influences.
