free?
brinked says free but phone message says 19.99 mo. which is is?
|
It says free because you can download the ringtones for free to your computer then send them in a email to your phone but for the $19.99 a month, I think you have to pay when you send it through with the site to your phone then sending it through with your email. I hoped this helped you out some. (:

Save the file to your computer then email it to your phone. easy as pie and free as f**k |
Free?
So as long as I save through the computer, its free....but what about just being a member? does it cost anything to just be here....I can't find anything that says other wise.....like charging the carrier you are with......
|
Nah - Brinked is 100% free and will always be 100% free. The advertisements are how we make our money and are able to provide free ringtones to you guys.
|
How do you save them to your computer?!!

so if i click "send to phone" it will charge me?

Brinked is 100% free. Be sure to check out the other threads on the forums if you are having any trouble - our community has been pretty good about coming together and helping others fix their problems and get ringtones for free.
|
But when I go to the FAQ thing at the top, it says "Brinked is entirely free to sign up, make and download ringtones. Brinked does not have a billing system in place so we can not charge you even if we desired to. Please take careful notice of the advertisements that are placed on Brinked.com."
So do you really have to pay the monthly thing? |
Make sure you download the ringtone from brinked, via the "Download: MP3 / WAV / M4R" - Most phones take mp3, iphones use m4r.
Once you download the ringtone (right click -> save as, save target, or leftclick and stream in WMP), send it to your phone. I'd recommend using a USB cable or SD memory card. |
Sending directly to your phone is a premium service which we don't offer - for users who are interested though, we do have advertisements for Send to Phone services.
All ringtones on brinked are 100% totally free to download. Once you have downloaded a ringtone, you will need to send it to your phone - I would recommend a USB to phone cable, SD memory card, or using your email. If you need help with sending your ringtones to your phone via usb cables or any other mentioned methods, I would suggest searching our forums and blog - the answer to your question is already there. |
