how can i send the ringtones to my phone?
 

i cannot figure it out. i have an env3. its making me mad any help would be great.

you need to save as an MP3 to your computer. Then e-mail to your phone. once you get the e-mail save the sound.

How do you email that song to your phone? i type in my number but it tells me i cant send it..

Once you have made the ringtone, go to download:MP3 right click and scroll down to "Save Target as.." you then save it as a file. Insert your MicroSD card into the computer and copy the ringtone from your computer to the "My Sounds" folder of your MicroSD card. You then insert the card back into your phone aqnd voila! You have your ringtone! (I TOO HAVE AN ENV3 AND I DONT THINK THE TYPE OF PHONE MATTERS LOL IT TOOK ME A MINUTE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SAVE IT BUT I GOT IT LOL) HOPE THIS HELPS

Just attach an e-mail. Easiest way to do it is create a new e-mail, download the ringtone to your computer, upload & send on new e-mail to the one you use on your phone. Another way is through USB transfer.

are we able to do it throught a sim card also

Yeah you can do it via a card, usb to phone cable, bluetooth, itunes.

To all that are having problems sending the ringtones to their phones....I found a way around it. If you have a media card, once you make the ringtone and the screen pops up playing the ringtone that you made, underneath that you will see "MP3" highlighted in blue. If you right click that and click on "save target as", save it to your desktop, plug in your media card to your computer and transfer the file from your computer to your media card. Hope this helps. :)

Ok, its really simple:) Just right click MP3, scroll down to "save target as" and type in what you want it to be called. Go to your email and go to NEW, and put <your phonenumber@vzwpix.com>; . Go to attach and click on whatever you picked from brinked. Wait for it to load and press send. Does that help??

to download the file, right click -> save as on the filetype your phone supports (mp3, m4r, ect).

Example:

My phone users mp3's. When I want a new ringtone, I right click on "MP3" and then click on "Save as". I prefer to save it to my desktop for easier access.

After I send the ringtone to my phone I delete the ringtone from my computer. I use a USB to Phone cable to get my tones on my cellphone - there are several methods though including but not limited to: SD cards, texting it to you phone via email, bluetooth, ect.

idk about a code, you just attach the ringtone to ur emial and email it to your phone

but how do you do that?

1) You can buy a USB to Phone cable - They are very useful and have multiple purposes.

2) Email it to your phone (lots of already written post about this through the forums)

3) Bluetooth

4) A memory card (that matches your phone obviously)

Okay....I saved the mp3 to my computer.......I emailed it to my Pantech Matrix c740.........found it in my message inbox within the phone.......opened it and it plays the tune (really quietly) and then the only options it gives me is delete, reply, save as contact, update contact etc. It doesn't ask me if I want to save the sound or give me the ability to access the mp3 in my inbox when trying to set a new ringtone. I have spent the last hour trying to do this and now my phone is recharging...............

fratetrain, I would recommend using a USB to phone cable. It's very very easy and 100% reliable. Plus, you can use them to send over any files from your phone to pc, and vise versa. Ringtones, Wallpapers, Videos, or anything else you would need to send.

You can get them pretty cheap for around $10-$15 at walmart

The file is already on my phone. I see no need to spend $10-$15 for the cable since I was trying to save the $2.45 to instantly download it from the att site. I'm going to try to use the att live chat to see if they can help.

As far as your individual phone I have no idea, we focus on providing the ringtones and are not experts in using each phone.
