why won't the e-mail from hotmail go through to my phone (new alius 2) using my 10 digit number@ vtext.com...I don't get it.

I can't receive the e-mail to my phone with verizon for some reason...can't figure out how to actually get these downloads onto my phone to use them as ringtones...HELP!!
