Using The Brinked.com Ringtone Maker
Step by Step guide to creating your own ringtones from files on your computer or with YouTube.com Videos.
1.)
Register an Account
2.) Navigate to the
Ringtone Maker
3.) This step will vary depending on how you want to create your ringtone.
If you want to create a free ringtone from an audio file, see 3.a)
If you want to make a free ringtone from a YouTube video, see 3.b)
3.a) Click browse and navigate to the file you want to use. After you have found the file you want to use, click Ok and then "Upload"
3.b) Copy the url (example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTAAsCNK7RA
) and paste into the YouTube Video Url field.
4.) Fill in the ringtone details - Category, Song, Artist, and Description. Please try to be as accurate as possible.
5.) Click and move the dark blue area to select the part of the song you want your ringtone to be. Ringtones cannot be full songs, only a 30 seconds or less portion of the song.
6.) Choose if you want the ringtone to Fade In or Fade Out.
7.) Click Create Ringtone
8.) Select "Agree that this is not copyrighted material"
9.) Email your ringtone to your phone as an attachment. See
this thread
for a guide to sending ringtones to your cellphone.
10.) Share your new ringtone with your friends!
Enjoy.
