Download the ringtone you want to your computer (download the mp3 format), save it in your "My Music" folder on your computer. Then go to your email account, I use Hotmail, Windows Live mail is the same. Select New Message, In the subject line type the name of the ringtone. Next click on attach, and select file, then browse to your My Music folder and select the ringtone you downloaded. Wait for it to upload, it will tell you the size of the file once it is finished. Now in the "To" field of the email message use your phone's email address (see previous post for email addresses), then click send. Once the message comes to your phone, you should have an options in your phone's menu, select Save as Ringtone... Note for fellow Verizon customers, if you want to delete the message, save the ringtone as a sound also. Because, you can't send ringtones from your phone in a picture message, you can only add tones to the message, so save the ringtone as a sound. Also my friend has the Droid Eris and it won't let him save the ringtones from messages, I think that is Verizon's doing. On a sidenote, you can also send wallpapers to your phone the same way as I explained for the ringtones. The best resolution that seems to work on most phones is 1024X768...Hope this helps peeps!! Peace, L8R!!
