I'm with verizon and have unlimited picture and video messaging. But will sending ringtones through my email count as premium text messages?
No they don't, they count premium texts as say those sites like you see on tv that you have to pay for ringtones...I send them to myself all the time, and don't get charged.

Really you don't get charged for that but I heard that verizon does not allow you to do anything without paying.
