It took me a couple of hours, but after reading everyones various advice it worked for me and all the phones we have with Verizon by using that 1234...verizon number that was listed earlier. Do not click on that download to cell phone link its an advertisement..thats why things get stupid. Brinked itself is on the up and up. I tried sending a ringtone to my friends att phone but it doesnt work the same way, even though i used the correct number for it. Her phone is a Nokia and I think that different phones perhaps have different steps that need to be taken. Its just a matter of figuring out which hoop you have to jump through to make it happen. I was frustrated too but hang in there and keep reading advice and you will find which way works for your phone I'm sure of it.
