I got a new laptop and for some reason the ringtones will not download at all on it. I've been using this site for months on my old computer with no problems. I click on download MP3 and it just brings up the ringtone in windows media player and plays it.. it won't bring up the save file window. HELP PLEASE, getting frustrated.

hmmm thats weird so you clicked mp3? thats to download it right on also try to right click "mp3" and save as or something like that
The only way that it seems to work for me (much easier anyway) is to go through the steps of making it, get to the point where it asks if you would like to send it. This is the point where I used to get frustrated. Instead of sending to email or whatever other options there are I download the clip to my Itunes. From there I name the artist as "Ringtone" so there is no confusion. If you can get this far it seems to be pretty easy. Open your email, click on attach, browse files, pull up itunes, find your song"Ringtone", and attach.
It's fairly simple once you figure it out, the only thing I can think of that may be somewhat confusing besides all this is figuring out how to send email to your phone. This is pretty easy as well. If you don't already know how to do this here is a link… http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/email-to-sms/ .
If you don't see your provider just go to a search engine and type in "email to cell phone" or "email to (your provider here)".
If by chance your phone is not accepting the file… it is possible that your phone doesn't use MP3, I suppose it may need to be WAV or what have you. (MP3, WAV, AIFF, OGG and or FLAC files etc.). You need to research what file format(s) your phone accepts. There are many different ringtone formats in existence, but they fall into three main categories; Monophonic, Polyphonic, Music ring tones.
I doubt you'll need to know all that but there it is. If you seem to have any other problems and/or
questions it's pretty simple to just search it out on Google or whatever you use but feel free to ask. This is the site I usually use but there are others out there.
1- First, try sending a text message to your email.
2- Then login to your email, open the message you sent yourself. Hit "Reply"
3- Download the ringtone you want from Brinked. Be sure to choose the filetype(MP3, M4R, ect) your phone supports, and save it somewhere you can find it easily.
4- go back to your email and attach the ringtone. Hit send.
5- make sure you received the ringtone via text message on your phone.
6- save the ringtone and set it to whomever you wish.
For step 6, if you find yourself having a hard time, I would suggest calling cricket support and asking how you can save ringtones and use them.
Also, I would mention that using email to send to your phone can be complicated for most people. I would suggest buying a USB cable ($10 or so), and using that. USB cables are very useful. You can use it to send pictures, videos, mp3s, ect between your PC and phone.
Good luck Viviana! Let me know if you have any trouble and I'll gladly help if I can
