For those of us a little computer challenged I did figure out! Click on the name of the song you want. Right under the play/stop button is Download: mp3/mp4/ etc. Click on THAT download link, then click SAVE to your computer. From there go to your email and send the email to your phone with the download song as the attachment. Hope this helps
For those with Verizon...I figured out how to make it work...if you have windows XP that is.
The issue I was having was that when I sent the mp3 file to my phone via email, it was not sending the attachment, because verizon only lets MIDI files come thru. So, what you have to do is change the TYPE of file it is from MP3 to MIDI by changing the file extension. How you do this is detailed below...
once you download the file...follow these steps BEFORE you send your email to your verizon phone (ie: 123456789@vzwpix.com)
1. go to My computer
2. on top bar, clip FOLDERS
3. Navigate to where you downloaded the file (i made a folder on my desktop named ringtones)
NOW...this is the semi complicated part..so pay attention...
4. go to TOOLS (on top bar, it says..file, edit, view, favorites, TOOLS)
5. select "folder options"
6. select "view" in subfolder
7. scroll down to folder that says "hidden files and folders" and change setting from DO NOT SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS....to SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS...and click ok.
8. Now you should be able to see the file extensions and you will be able to change the file of the ringtone from mp3 to mid. Example: if the ringtone is called "ringtone.mp3" simply click on the name of the file..and change the name to "ringtone.mid"
9. NOW you can attach this file and email it to your phone and it shows up as a sound file. Once you hit options, it should allow you to save as ringtone.
