Does anyone know how to upload a ringtone with a sidekick. I emailed the mp3 to my phone, but it is sent into the folder where I get pictures not texts. It does not give me an option to save the ringtone.

Help - I have downloaded my ringtone. I am trying to send to my phone and can not. I put my cell number and then US Cellular email. Example 1234567890@uscc.net. My phone does not receive the message.
I have the same problem because I am on a boost prepaid phone that I pay as I go with. It lets me send pics/texts to my email, but doesn't seem to want to let me receive. If I had the actual pre-paid plan that included "internet" service, it might work... Chances are you are on a plan that does not either have WEB service or the particular program you have only allows you to use their downloadable apps and ringtones... lots of fine print involved from one type of cell phone to the next. Try just calling the carrier and ASK.
Here is a quick guide on how to send a ring tone to your cellphone.
1. Create a free account at Brinked.com
2. Click one of the download links on the ringtone page you want.
3. Create a new email with the ringtone as an attachment and send the email as a text message.
Here are the email address needed for different providers. Replace 1234567890 with your cellphone number, no spaces, area code first.
So... basically you're telling me I am fucked if I am on a prepaid Boost account... that I cannot send myself texts with the ringtone... cause I tried emailing it to my address that allows me to send pics to my personal email... but apparantly they wont let me go in reverse... so lame... but thanks for the info~
