Yes I saved the mp3 on my computer and then tried copying it to my memory card but it said it was write protected. There is no switch on my card. Thanks though! I do appreciate it. Any other suggestions?
From what i'm reading, it is suggested that you reformat your Micro SD Card. If you try to do this on your PC, it may give you the "Write-Protected" problem. The solution is to put the card in your camera or Phone and reformat it from there.
Other than that I can't find anything!!!
If your card still doesn't work after you re-format it, you may need to try another method. Email is a free way to do it. There are several guides through he forums for using email to send to your phone.
Ok, I found memory card manager and then format memory card, which will wipe out anything i have on that card. if I format the memory card I should be able to save an mp3 ringtone to my memory card on my computer and then when I put the memory card back in my phone I should be able to use that mp3 that I saved as my ringtone? I have tried everything and nothing worked. I even tried going onto text4free.net and sending a txt to my cell with the mp3 attachment but I never received it after I sent it. I also tried emailing it to my cell # at sprint but nothing. I searched high and low for the cord that connects my phone to my computer but was not able to find it. I appreciate your help. I'm just afraid of losing all the songs I have saved on my computer. Thanks!
To send a ringtone to your phone here are the steps:
1. Send a picture message to your email to find out what your phone's email is.
2. Find which ringtone you want and click on it to bring it to the page
3. Right click on MP3 and save link as
4. Send your phone an email with the ringtone as an attachment.
