A composer, conductor and pianist, John Williams has a career which spans six decades. He has composed a number of famous film scores in Hollywood, which includes that of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Superman, the Indiana Jones series, Jurassic Park and Schindler's List. He has also composed the theme music for the NBC Nightly News, four Olympic Games, Barack Obama's inauguration, along with numerous concert pieces and television series. He was the Boston Pops Orchestra's principal conductor from 1980 through 1993, and is the orchestra's laureate conductor today.
