One of the most popular music artists today, Ne-Yo is a singer, songwriter and arranger who was born in Arkansas but raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He started out his career in the industry as a songwriter. During his late teenage years, he wrote for Youngstown as well as for Mario with the song Let Me Love You in 2004. His second recorded album but the first to be released, In My Own Words, came out in 2006 and was able to reach the top of the hit charts.
