He was able to release his single Beautiful Girls in 2007, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for a total of three weeks. In 2007, he was the opening act for The Sweet Escape Tour of Gwen Stefani and for some dates of The Beyonce Experience Tour of Beyonce.
