The Zac Brown Band is a group that was created in Atlanta, Georgia in 2004. It was founded by Zac Brown, who is a singer, songwriter and a guitarist who grew up in Georgia. For a couple of years, he performed as a solo artist before he started the group. Aside from Zac Brown, the initial members of the group included John Hopkins on bass, Jimmy De Martini on the fiddle and Coy Bowles on guitars and organ. Later on, Chris Fryar joined the group and played drums. The Zac Brown Band released their debut album in 2005, with their second and third albums following in 2007 and 2008, respectively.
